Josè Mourinho rinuncia, con effetto immediato, all”Uefa Football Board. L’allenatore della Roma, il giorno dopo la maxi squalifica di quattro giornate inflitta proprio dall’ente che governa il calcio europeo per il burrascoso finale di Europa League con il Siviglia, ha scritto una lettera a Zvonimir Boban. “Nel ringraziarvi per l’invito che mi avete rivolto a far parte dell’UEFA Football Board, mi dispiace informarvi che, con effetto immediato, rinuncerò alla mia partecipazione a questo gruppo – si legge nella lettera – Le condizioni in cui credevo così fortemente quando sono entrato non ci sono più e ho sentito l’obbligo di prendere questa decisione. Le chiedo cortesemente di comunicare la mia decisione anche al Presidente Sig. Aleksander Čeferin”.

Dear Mr. Boban, In thanking you for the invitation you extended to me to be a member of the UEFA Football Board, I regret to inform you that, effective immediately, I will be renouncing to my participation in this group.
