Il Borussia Monchengladbach ha preso in giro ironicamente il Bayern Monaco, dopo la vittoria ottenuta per 3-2 in campionato. Al termine della partita infatti il club di casa ha pubblicato un tweet sul proprio account ufficiale, con una foto di Oliver Khan disperato e il seguente testo: “Quando acquisti Sommer, ma non riesci ancora a battere il Gladbach”.
